Autumn Fest returns Sept. 12 with family fun, food and entertainment

ELF Autumn Fest will return to the Cheshire Fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 12, bringing live music, food, family activities and local vendors together for a daylong celebration of the season. Now in its second year, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is designed to offer something for visitors of all ages. Organized by The Keene Sentinel, this year's event is building on the inaugural festival with a mix of entertainment, activities and attractions meant to showcase the community while giving families a chance to enjoy a full afternoon of fall fun. The Lake Effect Band will headline live music, while food trucks and a beer tent offer a variety of options for attendees looking to grab a meal or relax with friends throughout the day. The festival's attractions include hayrides, an obstacle course, bounce house, rock wall, bungee trampolines, a classic car show and a craft fair featuring local vendors. The goal is to create an event that offers something for every age group. In addition to welcoming visitors, organizers are still accepting registrations for vendors, food vendors and participants in the classic car show. Students, children ages 5 to 11 and seniors ages 65 and older will be admitted for $5. Children 5 and younger are free.
