Alive After Five Kicks Off

This year's annual Alive After 5 competition began Thursday night on the lawn of the Uintah County Library. This is a weekly competition held every Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. This will be held until the finale on Aug. 6. Each night begins with introductions, the contestants perform, and voting takes place at the end of the night. The competition started off with 12 contestants and is continuing with 11, moving on to the next round. The contestants moving on are Brooklyn Murray, Kaylee Gardinier, Jaedee Slaugh, Meredith Cox, Alex Slade, Kaylee Zelaya, Cayt Perkins, Taysia Tello, Thailer Oaks, Lushea Sherman, and Kaitlyn Buckner. Congratulations to those moving on in the competition. "Each contest was wonderful, making it hard to choose," said voters.
