DubHub Music & Artisan Fair to benefit child hunger relief

DUBLIN — The Dublin Community Center will host the DubHub Music & Artisan Fair on Saturday, June 27, featuring a full day of live performances and local crafts to benefit child hunger relief. Located at 1123 Main St., the event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. More than 15 regional artisans — including frequent participants of the Monadnock Art Tours and the League of NH Craftsmen — will showcase handmade glass, jewelry, pottery, and paintings inside the center until 4 p.m. Outside, a live music lineup featuring Union Sound, Kota, Folk Soul Duo, the Milk House Heaters, and the Hot Skillet Club will perform behind the neighboring Dublin Community Church from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pieces will include an array of wares from fused and hand-blown glass by Danser Arts Studios and glass artist Alex Kalish; paintings by William Novak, Rachel Germond, and Suzan Macy; hand-made pillows by Nancy Cayford; hand-dyed scarves by Rebecca Welsh; fine gold and silver jewelry by the late jewelry designer Brian Richardson; floral bouquets and photography by Uplifting Roots Flower Farm; books by local author Sebastian Lockwood; limited edition giftable crafted botanical beauty products by LUX products, ceramic and porcelain dishware and jewelry by artisans such as Brian James, Forrest Bencivenga, and Donni Webber, and more. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics, and the Kona Ice food truck will be on-site. While admission is free, all donations collected during the fair will directly benefit End 68 Hours of Hunger, supporting food-insecure children within the ConVal School District.
