It comes together quick and easy and just needs some freezer time and it's ready to go! This pie is one of those fun, unexpected desserts that brings a little personality to the table — and maybe even a bit of nostalgia, too. Ingredients ¾ cup of regular Dr. Pepper ½ cup of milk One 3.4 oz. box of vanilla pudding mix (powder only) 3 Tbsp. of Dr. Pepper concentrate (I used the Soda Stream Dr. Pete version) One 8 oz. container of whipped topping, thawed One 9" round graham cracker crust Whipped cream and cherries, for garnish Instructions In a large mixing bowl whisk together the Dr. Pepper, milk, vanilla pudding mix and the Dr. Pepper concentrate for about two minutes, until the pudding mixture starts to thicken. Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until completely combined. Pour the pie filling into the graham cracker crust. Freeze the pie uncovered for at least eight hours, or overnight before cutting it into slices and serving. Serve with the whipped cream and cherries. Notes: I would skip trying to use Diet Dr. Pepper; I don't think the flavor would be great. If you can't find any Dr. Pepper concentrate, you could skip it, you just have to keep in mind that Dr. Pepper flavor will be very mild. I also think you could sub Dr. Pepper for root beer if Dr. Pepper isn't your thing — root beer floats are equally amazing!
