Sherman ISD to Host Job Fairs March 24 & 26

Sherman ISD is looking for dedicated people to fill essential roles in its schools as the district plans for the 2026-27 school year. SISD will host job fairs on Tuesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 26 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Sherman ISD Service Center, 2701 N. Loy Lake Road, Sherman, TX 75090, to meet with prospective employees and share information about career opportunities. There are full- and part-time opportunities available, and candidates are encouraged to complete an application ahead of time at www.shermanisd.net/careers. Some positions require a college degree and/or specific certifications, experience or training, while others do not. For instance, those interested in teaching can start as a classroom assistant with a high school diploma. Sherman ISD is committed to competitive compensation for all staff and offers the highest starting teacher salary in Texoma. The salary for brand-new teachers in the 2025-26 school year is $60,000. In addition, Sherman ISD has been fully approved for the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), which provides highly effective teachers with state stipends ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 on top of their regular salary!
