Mary Adams of the New Hampshire Historical Society will present "Redcoats and Rebels" on Saturday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Monadnock Center, 19 Grove St., Peterborough. Though much of the narrative of the American Revolution is overshadowed by Massachusetts, Adams will speak of New Hampshire's strong thread in the history of the American Revolution. This program is free to attend. Roll out the red carpet for Hollywood's biggest night: the Oscars Party at Madame Sherri's at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 82 Main St., Keene. Come dressed to impress or in couch-critic chic to sip, snack and speculate as the stars shine and speeches ramble. Admission is free. On Sunday, March 15, stop by the Pool Nature Center, 117 Adams Crossroad, Marlboro, Vt., for the chance to meet the mammals of the Vermont Museum of Natural History: Pepper the skunk, Manny the marsupial, and the sweet rat sisters. Join for scheduled feedings at 11:30 a.m. (opossum), 12 p.m. (rats) and 12:30 p.m. (skunk). Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Spend a relaxing hour in Wild Carrot Farm's wood-fired saunas in a community or private session. Each sauna has a maximum of five people; book with friends or by yourself to meet new people.
