Is it a Find!?

Dear Dan, I have this pin that was handed down to me from my grandmother. Years back while wearing it, I was told by a friend that it could be quite valuable. It is 1 ¼" long and is marked on the back with a circle with some small lettering, 257, sterling and Denmark. I was wondering what you may know about it. Jensen was a skilled artist and by the age of 14 had started his training as a goldsmith, which he later left by college to pursue his studies in sculpting. In 1899 he began making silver jewelry and his ultimate profession as a silversmith was found. By 1924 he had major retail stores in Copenhagen, Berlin, London and New York. He is regarded as one of the finest silversmiths of that era and his works are highly collectible. Your pin was made in the 1930s and could sell for upwards of $250! His company is still operational today and continues to make extremely high-grade jewelry. It would be safe to gently polish your pin with a high-grade silver cloth.
