Step into the Season with ELF Autumn Festival

This year, embracing that spirit of warmth and togetherness, The Keene Sentinel is proud to present its very first ELF Autumn Festival — a brand-new event designed to bring people together for a day of seasonal celebration, local charm and festive fun. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the nostalgic Cheshire Fairgrounds. Autumn has long been a time of harvest and gathering — a season to slow down and savor the fruits of summer's labor while preparing for the cozy months ahead. Historically, communities have come together in the fall to share food, tell stories, enjoy music and give thanks. Inspired by these time-honored traditions, the ELF Autumn Festival is designed as a modern celebration of all the things that make fall in New England so special. Whether you're looking to explore local craftsmanship, dance to live music, indulge in delicious seasonal eats or simply enjoy a crisp fall day with loved ones, this event has something for everyone. With over 30 vendor booths onsite, guests can expect a market featuring talented local artisans, unique handmade goods and small businesses offering a variety of products. From handcrafted jewelry and cozy knitwear to autumn décor and specialty foods, there's sure to be a treasure around every corner. For those who appreciate classic cars, don't miss the Classic Car Show, showcasing vintage rides that bring nostalgia and style together in one place. Live entertainment will set the tone throughout the day, with performances by The Lake Effect and The Shana Stack Band. These talented bands will offer a mix of musical styles — from country and rock to modern-day hits — sure to keep everyone dancing and feeling upbeat. Looking for a little excitement? Don't miss the Disc Dog Show, with three performances scheduled at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. These talented canines will amaze crowds with high-flying tricks and entertaining routines that are fun for all ages. Families will also love the Game Zone, which will be running throughout the day. Kids can enjoy a bounce house, giant lawn games and other interactive activities designed to keep them smiling and engaged. No festival is complete without great food, and the ELF Autumn Festival will deliver. A variety of local food trucks will be offering everything from warm comfort foods to sweet fall treats. And for the adults, there's a beer corner where you can sample local brews and sip something seasonal as you soak in the festive atmosphere. The best part?
