Easter Event Hunt

The Easter season is just around the corner, and the Monadnock Region is gearing up for a variety of fun-filled activities for all ages! Whether you're hunting for Easter eggs, having breakfast with the Easter Bunny or creating your own springtime floral arrangements, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Here's your guide to a selection of Easter events happening this year. Something for the Kids Easter Egg Hunt in the Pool: Hunt for eggs in the pool, followed by Family Open Swim on Friday, April 18 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Keene Family YMCA, 200 Summit Road, Keene. The cost is $5 for family members, $7 for members and guests are $10 per child, caregivers welcome free of charge. Registration is required online at keeneymca.org/events/. Easter Egg Hunt: Join the United Church of Christ for an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon, in the park and playground behind the church at the corner of Court Street and Vernon Street. There is also an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and lots of arts and crafts too. United Church of Christ, 23 Central Square, Keene. Glow Egg Hunt: An egg hunt in the dark for children ages 10 through 12, on Friday, April 18 from 7:30 to 8 p.m., at Wheelock Park, Park Avenue, Keene. Easter Egg Hunt: The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance at Wheelock Park and there will be an egg hunt for multiple age groups held on Saturday, April 19 from 10 to 11 a.m., at Wheelock Park, Park Avenue, Keene. Space is limited. The event is free but pre-registration is required online at keeneparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program. Bunny Egg Hunt: Hunt for candy-filled eggs and meet the bunny on Saturday, April 12, starting at 10:30 a.m. sharp, at Adams Park, Union Street, Peterborough. Children's Easter Program and Egg Hunt: Easter program followed by an Easter egg hunt for children in fifth grade and younger, bring your own basket, Saturday, April 12 from 10 to 11 a.m., First Congregational Church, 679 Old Homestead Highway, Swanzey. Brattleboro Annual Egg Hunt: Hosted by The Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department on Saturday, April 19, ages four and under starts at 9:30 a.m., ages five and older start at 9:45 a.m. This event will take place at the lower softball field at Living Memorial Park. In case of mud or rain, the alternate location will be inside the Nelson Withington Skating Facility. Breakfast and Brunch with the Easter Bunny Easter Bunny Brunch: Buffet style brunch with the Easter Bunny, Sunday, April 13 at 9 a.m., Birdies, 18 Main St., Keene. $15 tickets per person, kids two and under get in free. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: Join the Easter Bunny for breakfast at Frogg Brewing on Sunday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 580 Sawyers Crossing Road, Swanzey. Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch: Held on Saturday, April 19, at the Keene Country Club, an egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. and a buffet brunch starts at 11 a.m. The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance. 755 West Hill Road, Keene. $15.00 per person for members; $20.00 per person for non-members. Something for the Pets Sniff, Seek and Egg-splore: A doggy egg hunt will be held on Sunday, April 27 at noon, at Frogg Brewing, 580 Sawyers Crossing Road, Swanzey. Something for the Adults Easter Plant Pop Up Market: Hosted by Cheshire Floral Farm on Sunday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Frogg Brewing, 580 Sawyers Crossing Road, Swanzey. Easter Dish Garden Class: Hosted by Cheshire Floral Farm on Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m., get ready to welcome spring with a beautiful, handcrafted dish garden, filled with vibrant pansies and colorful foliage. This hands-on workshop will guide you through designing your own unique arrangement at Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Road, Keene. The cost is $45 per person and includes expert instruction and all materials to make your very own dish garden to take home. Advanced registration and payment are required online at stonewallfarm.org/events/easter-dish-garden-class/. Adult Easter Egg Hunt: Race to collect eggs in this 21-plus event but bring your own flashlight! Held on Friday, April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wheelock Park, Park Avenue, Keene.
