Letter from the Editor

To the Reader: It is with great excitement that I write to you, officially announcing the relaunch of ELF magazine. You'll notice that things look a little different this week and we hope it's a welcomed change. Since its inception in 2014, ELF has devoted itself to providing its readers with the latest arts and entertainment news in the greater Monadnock region. In this time, ELF has gone through several iterations, each with the hope to bring you the best content possible with a continued commitment to excellence in journalism. Upon taking over as editor in the fall of 2023, the ELF team and I have been working hard at reimagining ELF to better reflect the diverse interests of our readership and what this publication represents. After a lot of caffeine and collaboration, I am thrilled to be able to present this newly revitalized issue. Today, ELF relaunches with a re-energized design and a stronger focus on bridging the gap between all aspects of lifestyle and entertainment. With this region having so much to offer, we strive to give a comprehensive overview of local happenings, and to be your go-to resource when planning for the weekend ahead. ELF achieves this in part by introducing new content features. The new "Working for a Living" column showcases brief highlights on local persons and their careers, exposing readers to local businesses and community members who help our economy thrive. The "Weekly Roundup" goes above and beyond our weekly calendar to provide the Editor's picks for the most exciting activities of the week that you simply cannot miss. Stay "On the Pulse" with a curated playlist featuring local musicians and bands, including those touring in the region. Scan the QR code to listen and get a taste of what the weekend will bring. I used to be someone who thought, "there is nothing to do here," but after becoming editor of ELF, I know I have never been more wrong. Where there's ELF, there's something to do. As we embark on yet another journey of change, we welcome your feedback and suggestions. Your input is invaluable in shaping the direction of ELF as we aim to create content that reflects our community.
