Adventure Awaits at MoCo Arts C.A.K.E. and CupCAKE Summer Camps!

KEENE, NH — As the warmth of summer approaches, MoCo Arts is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated C.A.K.E. (Creative Arts at Keene) and CupCAKE Summer Camps. Designed to inspire creativity, foster artistic expression, and ignite imaginations, these camps offer an immersive experience for children of all ages. CupCAKE Summer Camp: Where Friendships Are Born CupCAKE Camp welcomes children ages 4 years old through grade 3 to embark on a magical journey through space. With this year's theme centered around the cosmos, campers will explore the wonders of the universe through creative movement, storytelling and imaginative play. From rocket launches to alien encounters, every day promises new adventures and discoveries. Running the last week of June and the first three weeks of August, CupCAKE Camp offers a flexible schedule that accommodates families' summer plans. With engaging activities, themed crafts, and interactive games, children will enjoy the exploration of space while forging friendships and creating cherished memories. "CupCAKE Camp is all about building confidence and making friends in a supportive, fun environment," explains Danielle Fitzpatrick, Artistic Director of Young Arts and CupCAKE at MoCo Arts. "Through dance, theater, music and interactive activities, we aim to spark curiosity, creativity, and create a lifelong appreciation for the arts." C.A.K.E. Summer Camp: Where Creativity Knows No Bounds C.A.K.E. Camp, catering to students in grades 3 through 12, boasts an extensive lineup of classes that span the month of July. Campers can immerse themselves in the world of music, where they'll expand their vocal skills and master their instrument of choice, dancers can practice many styles, from ballet and jazz to hip hop and modern. Theater lovers will have the chance to hone their acting skills, participate in exciting improvisation games, and bring characters to life on stage in two musicals and a one act play. Visual arts enthusiasts can unleash their creativity through painting, drawing, sculpting, mixed media projects, chain mail and more, while culinary fans can experiment with flavors and techniques in cooking classes. For those who like to stay behind the scenes, C.A.K.E. Camp offers film and media classes, a podcast and stage and film makeup, where campers can learn special effects techniques and transform into imaginary characters. And for those who love fantasy and adventure, Dungeons and Dragons sessions provide an opportunity to embark on epic quests with fellow campers. The last week of camp is called Festival Week, where parents, siblings, community members, and friends gather as campers celebrate what they have learned this summer in dance and theater performances, art displays, rock concerts, a film festival and more. Campers can register for one, two, three, or all four weeks of camp and can choose between full or half day sessions. "Our C.A.K.E. Tuition Assistance, Registration, And More Information At MoCo Arts, we believe that every child deserves the chance to discover their passion and unleash their creativity. With C.A.K.E. and CupCAKE Summer Camps, we invite young artists of all ages and abilities to join us on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and artistic expression. As part of MoCo's mission to keep the arts accessible to all, tuition assistance is available for both C.A.K.E. and CupCake camp. C.A.K.E. tuition is $250 per week, with half day discounts available. C.A.K.E. runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., during the month of July. MoCo is offering a C.A.K.E. early bird registration special until May 1: all four weeks of camp for $870. CupCAKE camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the last week of June and the first three weeks in August at $230 per week or $840 if you sign up for all four weeks of camp, with early drop off between 8-9 a.m., free of charge and aftercare available Monday through Thursday for both C.A.K.E. and CupCAKE until 5 p.m. for an additional $15 per day. Families who sign up multiple children will receive 5% off the cost of camp (this discount cannot be applied to the early bird special).
